The Writing Center is CLOSED finals week

Welcome to the Kansas State University Writing Center.

The Writing Center has three options for tutoring:

Face-to-face Tutoring - Schedule a time to meet a tutor in the Writing Center space (ECS 122D) or Hale Library Resource Link (152C) for 30 minutes to discuss your writing in person.

Get Written Feedback (eTutoring) - Submit your paper into the appointment system (8 pages max) and receive a written response from a writing consultant within 2 business days from the appointment time (For example, a Monday 10:00 am appointment will have feedback by Wednesday 10:00 am). Consultants will respond to issues of clarity, organization, and development of content. To avoid violations of academic honesty, consultants do not line edit or proofread.

Live Video Tutoring - We will offer a limited number of video tutoring sessions this term. These sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes: 30 minutes of tutoring time with enough cushion to allow for tech set up and transitioning to the next appointment. Please plan in advance. Note: you must have a microphone and camera connected to your computer. To join your scheduled online session, don't forget to log back into this website approximately five to ten minutes before the start of your appointment. Once logged in, open your online appointment and click "Start or Join Online Consultation" to meet with your tutor.
